Riding for a cause, protecting our children
Welcome to the U.B.A.K.A Munster chapter. We are a dedicated group of motorcyclists from all over Munster, Ireland. United by our love for motorbikes and a shared mission to protect and help children. Join us as we make a difference, one ride at a time.
Our purpose
The purpose of U.B.A.K.A. Munster (Urban Bulldogs Against Kids Abuse) is to support and empower children who are vulnerable or in need, including those affected by abuse as well as children facing medical, emotional or life‑challenging circumstances. We do this by providing a consistent, calm and protective presence during difficult or intimidating moments in their lives.
We aim to help children feel safe, supported and believed while standing alongside families as they navigate recovery, medical challenges, legal processes and everyday situations that can feel overwhelming.
Through compassion, accountability, and community action, we work to reduce fear, restore confidence and reinforce each child’s sense of safety and dignity, ensuring that no child feels alone or powerless.
How we help kids
U.B.A.K.A. Munster (Urban Bulldogs Against Kids Abuse) is a volunteer‑led child advocacy organisation dedicated to supporting children who are vulnerable or in need, including those impacted by abuse as well as children facing medical, emotional or life‑challenging circumstances. Our role is to empower children and families, helping them feel safer, stronger and less alone during times that can be frightening or overwhelming.
We work alongside parents, guardians and partner agencies to provide visible, calm and reassuring support, helping children regain confidence, reduce fear and know they are believed, valued and supported. While we do not replace professional or statutory services, we act as a steady presence, standing with families through medical journeys, court processes, meetings and everyday situations where a child may feel vulnerable.
At the heart of what we do is a simple goal:
No child should ever feel powerless or afraid.
Through consistency, compassion and accountability, U.B.A.K.A. Munster stands with children when they need it most, helping them move forward with confidence, dignity and hope.
Support & advocacy
We provide vital support and advocate for children's rights and well-being within our community.
Community initiatives
Through various community initiatives, we raise awareness and foster a supportive network for children.
Direct assistance
We offer direct assistance to children and families facing difficulties, providing practical help and support.
Safe spaces
We strive to create and support safe spaces where children can feel secure and protected.
