Join our community, make a difference

Become part of U.B.A.K.A. Munster, where your passion for motorcycling meets a profound commitment to protecting children. Discover how your ride can mean something more.

Riding with purpose

For most people, joining U.B.A.K.A. Munster is primarily about helping children, with a shared love of motorbikes bringing like-minded people together. We attract riders who want to use their time, skills, and presence to support children who have experienced abuse. The bikes are part of who we are, but they’re not the goal. They’re simply a powerful way to create visibility, community, and a calm, reassuring presence that can help children feel safer and less alone.

Many members enjoy riding and socialising with other bikers, but what keeps them involved is the purpose — knowing that being part of something bigger can genuinely make a difference in a child’s life. If someone is only interested in riding, there are plenty of motorcycle clubs for that. People who join U.B.A.K.A. do so because they want their riding to mean something. In short, it’s a bit of both, but the mission always comes first.

Our activities and impact

Members of U.B.A.K.A. Munster are brought together by a shared love of motorcycling and a stronger commitment to helping children feel safe and supported. We take part in group rides, community meet-ups, and charity events that build fellowship and raise awareness for child advocacy.

Alongside this, we support children and families by providing a calm, consistent, and reassuring presence during challenging moments. Working responsibly and in line with safeguarding principles, we stand alongside parents and appropriate services to help children feel less afraid and less alone. For us, riding builds community, and community helps protect children.

What we look for in members

You don’t need to be an experienced rider or own a specific brand of motorcycle to join U.B.A.K.A. Munster, what matters most is your commitment to our mission and values.

Members do need to ride a road-legal motorcycle, as riding is part of how we create community and visibility, but there’s no requirement for a particular engine size, style, or years of experience. We welcome riders who are responsible, respectful, and keen to be part of something with purpose.

Beyond riding, prospective members should understand that U.B.A.K.A. is about supporting children first. All members are expected to act professionally, follow safeguarding standards, and work respectfully alongside families and appropriate services. New members are guided through our expectations, code of conduct, and safeguarding approach so everyone understands their responsibilities from day one.

In short, if you care about children, value community, and want your riding to mean something, you’re the kind of person we’re looking for.
